MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES ACCESS TO THE FOLLOWING:
2 Industrial sergers
1 Industrial walking foot
1 Cylinder bed Saddle machine
1Straight Stitch garment machine
1 zig-zag/straight stitch machine
Leather tooling station
Snaps/grommet setter
Ironing Station
Cutting table
Measuring and cutting tools and equipment
Vintage pattern library
Access to free scraps and materials when available.
LIMITED STORAGE SPACE
Each member is allowed one unsecured shelf within the makers space.
Members can reserve a small storage bin for personal use for an addition fee. Please ask for details.
Our membership based industrial sewing makerspace is open to our members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Equipment is first come first serve. We may have a machine signup during busy hours if necessary.
We do require that all members use the facility correctly, independently, safely, and with consideration for other members.
Each member must be trained appropriatly for each piece of equipment. If you have never used it, you need to take a class on how to safely and properly operate the machine. If it you have used a similar machine but need specific details on a particular machine in the makerspace, ask and we will gladly show you how operate it!
MEMBERSHIP FEES
Our industrial sewing makerspace membership is $80 per month.
Membership dues will be charged by debit or credit card the 1st of every month.
If you would like to pay with cash, you must contact us 48 hours before payment is due and arrange to meet up.
We require two weeks notice if you would like to discontinue your membership.
Failure to give appropriate notice wil result in your card being charged for the following month.
Memberships may not be put on hold or paused for any duration of time. If you need to take a break, you will be put on our wait list to return as a member.
Steps for membership are as following- 2 ways to do it.
If you take a class (walking foot, serger or leather) you get a free 2 hour session in our makerspace, accessing only the machines you took the class in or can test out of the safety and use training for.
