What is your firing fee?

We offer Bisque, Glaze and Luster firing options. For studio members our firing rates are as follows for bisque and for using your own commercial glazes:

Size shelf for 1227 Scutt electric kiln.

  • Quarter shelf $10 (13”X13”)
  • Half shelf $15 (Half shelf measures 13”x26”)
  • Whole shelf $23 (26”x26”)
  • Half Kiln $35 (1227 Skutt)
  • Whole Kiln $60 (1227 Skutt)

Scheduling must be done 1-2 weeks in advance.

Wildling offer a variety of studio glazes for our members to use. The following are our rates for firing with use of our studio glazes.

  • Quarter shelf $15. (13”X13”)
  • Half shelf $22 (Half shelf measures 13”x26”)
  • Whole shelf $30 (26”x26”)
  • Half Kiln $50 (1227 Skutt)
  • Whole Kiln $75 (1227 Skutt)

Scheduling must be done 1-2 weeks in advance. Work that is over 7” tall will be priced at double. Plates will be half price if there are at least a 1/2 shelf.

Can I fire if I am not a member?

Currently, we fire for our members, class participants, and open studio attendees.

Can I take classes?

Yes! We have classes for all ages and abilities. The best way to know about classes as soon as they are listed is by signing up for our mailing list on our website.

Can I come to open studios without having taken a class?

Open studio Sunday is free for all students currently enrolled in classes. We also offer passes to former students and members.

What is included in membership?

Our large ceramics studio is a monthly membership subscription. Member included 24/7 access to our 1000 sq studio, the classroom, including all equipment such as wheels, slab roller, extruder, etc. This is a shared studio space where potters and ceramicist can come work and build community.Each member gets 6 ft of shelf space and a locker to themselves. Clay, glaze, and firing is charged separately.

Do you up-charge clay?

We purchase our cone 6 clay from Georgies and have many different clay bodies available for sale in the studio. Our clay prices are reflective of the cost and fluctuate from time to time.

What kind of clay and tools do you sell?

Have have basic tool kits for sale in the studio for class and open studio participants as well as for members.We also sell many different clay bodies available for purchase via QR code in the studio. This is an added convenience when working late/after regular business hours.

What kind of clay can I use at Wildling?

Wildling Clay Lab is a mid range studio. This means we fire to CONE 6. It imperative that folks only use cone 6 clay or higher to avoid melting catastrophe.

How do I sign up for a class?

Sign up for a class via our website! if you need help for any reason please contact us! We would love to walk you through the site!

What is included with a class?

With your class you will receive instruction from the one of our amazing teachers as well as clay, glaze, and firing for all the work made in class. You will also be able to come to our Open Studio Sundays for no additional cost starting the Sunday after your first class and ending on the Sunday after you last class.

Do members get discounts on classes?

Members get 10% discount on classes and workshops.

Can I teach my class at Wildling?

Can I rent a private studio?

We have seven private art studios at Wildling Collaborative Arts. There is currently a waitlist for studios. Would you like to be in the waitlist for a private studio? Email wildlingmanagment@gmail.com to be added!

How much do the private studios cost?

Private studios range from $450-$650 per month. All have nice natural light and are lockable. Private studio holders also have 24 hour access to their spaces.

Do you keep regular business hours?

While we are here most of the week we don’t have regular hours where we are open to the public. We do offer tours by appointment and you are welcome to stop by and see the space during Open Studio Sundays from 10am-4pm.

Can I bring my pet?

Wildling is a pet friendly space. They are welcome if you are a member or have a studio here at Wildling. We do ask that if your pet doesn't play well with others to please leave them at home. If you are coming to a class or to open studio, please leave your sweetie home.

Can I bring my child?

Children are welcome in classes as well as Open Studio Sundays. You may drop off your child if they are enrolled in our children’s class, Wild Muddy Kids, once they are signed in with the instructor. At all other time your child needs to be in the same room with you for their safety.

Can I request a workshop?

Yes! We would love to host a workshop for your private party, send us and email at wildlingmanagement@gmail.com and we will get something set up for you.

Can I have my art in your gallery?

We have a rotating artist in the front classroom. Art changes every 2-3 months.

We are always looking for new artists who are excited to share their work! Please email wildlingcollab@gmail.com if you would like to be considered.

Can I have a refund for classes and workshops?

If something comes up and you need to cancel your class, you have up to two week before the start date to receive a full refund. If it is sooner than two weeks we can try to fill the spot and you may receive a partial to full refund depending on the circumstances.

When are classes happening?

We have classes many nights of the week and some weekend days. Sign up for our newsletter here on the website to be the first to know about upcoming classes.

Can I take the class with my kid?

We have kid/parent classes which are designed for parents and kids. We ask that you don't bring your kids into an adult class as it may be distracting for other participants.

Can I sign my kid up for beginning wheel?

Our classes are geared towards adults unless it is specified in the description that the class is for children. Teens 16 and up are welcome to join the adult classes as long as it is a good fit for them.

When can I pick up my stuff after class?

The second Sunday after the last day of the class, all work will be fired and ready for pick up. Pick up your class work during open studio hours. Open studio is every Sunday from 10am-4pm. Some holiday may affect these hours.

How long will my work be available for pick up?

We keep work for up to 3 months, after that it may find it’s way to the cupboards or in our lonely pot sale.

When does work get tossed out?

After 3 months.

Do you have private group classes or workshops?

Would you like to schedule a private class for your group? We have a listing for groups! Email or call us to determine if your needs can be met. We would love to work with you !

Do you do birthday parties!?

YES! Call or email us to confirm timing and class size.
