Love in Clay: A Wild Muddy Kids Valentine’s Day Workshop
Do you want to surprise someone you love with a unique and handmade gift? Do you want to express your creativity and have fun with clay? Join us for a special workshop where you will learn how to make and decorate heart shaped ceramic bowls! No prior clay experience needed. You just need to be an elementary school kid.
Instructor Bio:
Kate Thornhill is a ceramic artist, librarian, and educator. With degrees in fine arts, art history, and librarianship, and over 15 years of children, teen, and adult classroom and one-on-one teaching and mentoring experience, Kate brings her love for storytelling, critical thinking, creativity, and play into the ceramics classroom. Her teaching philosophy is — let students lead. You can usually find Kate in the Wildling studio designing natural environment inspired pottery and sculptures.
