Do you love birds and want to attract them to your garden? Join us for a fun and creative workshop where you will learn how to make and decorate a birdhouse out of clay! No prior clay experience needed. You just need to be an elementary school kid.
Instructor Bio:
Kate Thornhill is a ceramic artist, librarian, and educator. With degrees in fine arts, art history, and librarianship, and over 15 years of children, teen, and adult classroom and one-on-one teaching and mentoring experience, Kate brings her love for storytelling, critical thinking, creativity, and play into the ceramics classroom. Her teaching philosophy is — let students lead. You can usually find Kate in the Wildling studio designing natural environment inspired pottery and sculptures.
