This class is designed to teach students the fundamentals of creating sprig molds for ceramic arts. Sprigs are small decorative elements made from clay that can be added to pottery to enhance its appearance.
Description: This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to the art of creating sprig molds for ceramic arts. Sprigs are small, intricate pieces of clay that can be used to add exquisite details and embellishments to pottery pieces. Students will learn various techniques for making sprigs and explore the creative possibilities they offer in their ceramic works.
Duration: 4 Hour intro to sprig mold workshop.

Materials and Tools:
- Plaster
- Clay
- Objects or sculpted elements to be made into a sprig mold.
- Clay tools
- Dust Mask
Prerequisites: No prior experience in sprig mold making is required, but participants should have some basic familiarity with pottery and working with clay.
Outcome: By the end of the workshop, participants will have gained the skills and knowledge to create their own unique sprig molds and confidently apply them to their ceramic artworks. They will leave with one to several sprig molds and a solid foundation for further exploration and experimentation in the world of ceramic arts.
